In October 2009, Huffman joined the lifestyle brand philosophy and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) to raise funds and awareness for the battle against cancer.
In September 2009, Felicity, along with her husband William H. Macy and Desperate Housewives co-star Teri Hatcher, participated in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon for the benefit of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
